Position at Taylor Communications Inc.
Taylor Communications in Dayton, Ohio is growing and is adding additional Press Operators to run Flexographic presses and other manufacturing equipment in our Dayton printing plant.
Shift Available:
• Monday - Friday
• 2nd shift 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Responsibilities Include:
• Safe and efficient operation of 8 and 10 unit Flexographic printing presses producing both pressure sensitive and unsupported film labels.
• Safe and efficient operation of finishing equipment including (but not limited to) Thermo & Vacuum Formers. Flatbed Laser Cutters and other die cutting/finishing equipment.
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school or GED equivalent
• Vocational/technical degree desired
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in Flexographic printing preferred
