The QA Tester is responsible for acceptance testing and implementation of all new software including creating test scripts. The QA Tester Engineer will interface with other Lottery Operations, Support and Testing staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. The QA Test Engineer will participate in prepare/follow test plans, preparing systems test environments and understand/follows standard/best practices. Support all UAT testing functions while supporting Lottery Customer.
• Support and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing system functionalities and operating systems
• Submit and track any product issues found during testing in bug tracking system to ensure they are resolved
• Communicate with Test, Development and Support groups within the Lottery Business department to prevent issues from arising and correct existing problems during the Quality Assurance (QA) cycle
• Reproduce issues when necessary in order to assist software development in resolving issues
• Ensure that all software is working as intended through rigorous and detailed testing
• Document finished product status by recording and summarizing raw test results and update QA database
• Assist in maintaining quality assurance documentation by writing or rewriting QA procedures
• Assure quality of products by performing both positive and negative test cases
• Provide feedback for continuous testing process improvement

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to meet quick deadlines and deliver precise, effective results in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong technical knowledge of computer systems (Windows and Linux), databases (MS SQL Server), and networks
