Job Summary
This position is responsible for running our Reroute program from end-to-end that finds alternative solutions with our vendors to alleviate high risk service situations to improve customer experience by supporting various ICB design teams and service delivery. In addition to preserving customer experience, the Planner II also identifies solutions to contribute to our major cost savings initiatives for the company.
Job Description
• Addresses at least 2 real-time feeds daily of keyed orders by identifying cost saving alternate routes.
• Communicates correct meet-points and NNIs on the network connecting to our vendors with the alternative cost-savings solutions.
• Maintains yearly cost-savings budget for the Reroute cost savings program.
• Verifies billing integrity newly implemented and installed alternate cost saving solutions and oversees any disputes with Billing and our vendors.
• Provides feedback to the Carrier Managers on the vendors’ pricing, delivery, and any other competitive info.
• Works cross-functionally with Product Management, Provisioning, Sales Engineering, Billing, and Network Planning.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 5+ years of related experience
Preferred:
• Master’s degree
• 3+ years of experience
