Position Overview
Creates and manages digital media projects and campaigns to promote the company and increase engagement.
Responsibilities
• Provides graphic design services and creates all visual media (e.g. website graphic designs, posters, flyers, social media posts, advertisements, banners, logo designs, etc.) using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Shoots high quality photos for internal and external events using a variety of camera equipment.
• Performs all levels of video production using NLE (Non-linear editing) machines and software.
• Researches and collects data for popular design trends to stay up to date on effective advertising and social media techniques.
• Develops content for social media platforms to advertise the company’s mission, events, job opportunities etc.
• Collaborates with CUSA social media team employees to create and deliver content that maintains brand awareness and relevance.
• Performs audio production using various audio equipment and software.
• Collaborates with various levels of business to create training materials for departments throughout the company.
• Provides assistance in the development and redesign of Canon Virginia Inc.’s internet and intranet web pages.
• Supports Corporate Planning and Marketing departments with visual media projects.
• May be assigned additional duties and/or special projects.
Qualifications
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of directly related experience.
• Broad understanding and experience in digital media research and activities, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills and professional image.
• May have to work overtime and may be assigned to other shifts based on company needs.
