Overview
The Sr Marketing Specialist within the Production Printing Systems (PPS) organization will lead marketing programs across the US driving Inkjet Media, Ink and color programs and solutions to market. This role focuses on driving and delivering outbound communication of our inkjet media program, as well as delivering customer focused solutions to market. This includes working with R&D and paper suppliers on development of new media and associated marketing programs, establishing and maintaining relationships with paper mills and merchants, developing strategic directions, building and supporting pricing & TCO tools to provide consultation for our customers on recommendations, as well as ensuring best-in-class media qualification processes.
Manage programs and help drive inkjet products to market that successfully achieve targeted revenue, metrics, deadlines, goals and objectives as designated.
Position will be located in Boca Raton, FL.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Enhance and drive a media program within the PPS business. Build strong internal partnerships with R&D and Technology Services and outbound messaging based on their activities.
• Liaise with the paper mills and merchants, and the media and solutions lab to develop and maintain new media and media solutions supporting the product portfolio.
• Be a subject matter expert on ink and media; build and execute on a marketing plan that communicates our world-class inkjet print performance across the gamut of media. Present this message to C-level customers on a weekly basis through our Customer Experience Center (CEC). Be the point of contact for customer questions around media and provide results-driven recommendations for customer facing inkjet solutions.
• Maintain and share an active database of media performance across our inkjet product lines, spanning across many varieties of ink, for customers and business partners.
• Build relationships with Paper Mills across the Americas; enable, track and communicate media performance test results as well as drive a go-to-market plan presenting the numerous opportunities for our customers.
• Drive our go-to-market message around the value of color, the impact media makes on color and how color vibrancy drives the value of color pages. Provide a color talk track and marketing demonstration at the CEC around the value color brings to the digital printing market.
• Build competitive financial models and help our customers understand the value of inkjet paper and how it drives our low total cost of ownership when producing inkjet based applications.
• Provide demonstrations of the media program within the CEC and at marketing and sales events.
• Ensure fast and accurate communication with field sales to support their sales activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a technical Digital Printing and Inkjet related field with 7+ years of related professional experience including an emphasis/technical knowledge in ink chemistry and/or paper manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales/marketing/solution management specifically focused on inkjet, ink chemistry and media experience specific to marketing in the printing industry.
• Experience in the Graphic Arts Digital Printing Industry
• Technical knowledge of ink chemistry & paper manufacturing
• Proven success in building relationships with third party vendors and associated partner, as well as, interaction with outside customers.
• Acts as a role model with strong leadership skills-able to lead and motivate others
• Ability to build Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and drive financial conversations
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Ability to develop future goals, strategies and tactics
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products.
• Ability to travel (estimated 25%)
