Job Summary:
iHeartMedia is currently seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Insights & Analytics to lead strategy and execution of marketing measurement efforts for the Northern California Region.
The Director of Insights and Analytics is a client-facing role responsible for leveraging primary research and secondary data sources to optimize campaigns and measure results. The role reports into the Region SVP of Sales supporting the overall objectives of acquiring, growing and retaining revenue.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Become an expert in iHeartMedia Analytics - a suite of marketing measurement solutions that allow iHeartMedia advertisers to measure & optimize cross-channel ad campaigns in real time.
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external sales, marketing, digital and data teams to help advertisers measure and optimize iHeartMedia marketing investments.
• Lead strategy and execution of advertising effectiveness research for a large portfolio of accounts in a variety of categories including, but not limited to, CPG, tech, auto, B2B, finance and retail.
• Manage research projects end-to-end including: defining measurement strategy and design, managing external vendors, building out presentations with key insights and presenting to clients.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to educate sales teams around attribution and marketing measurement in general to accelerate internal and client adoption of iHeartMedia Analytics.
Required Experience:
• Must have experience in marketing analytics, consumer insights, or conducting primary research
• Strong analytical skills including reporting, building dashboards, predictive modelling, and advanced analytics
• Excels in storytelling with data, and making recommendations in addition to observations
• Proven strength in collaborating and communicating with cross-functional teams
• Strong experience with data manipulation; advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau skills
• Driven, self-starter, quick learner
• Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, “can-do” attitude
• Bachelor’s Degree in communication, business, marketing or economics, preferred
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with radio, digital and social measurement including: Nielsen, ComScore, Triton, social media listening, Google Analytics, and Google Trends.
• Experience in sales and/or using research to generate revenue
• Knowledgeable of multi-channel marketing strategies (digital, social, event, audio, video)
• Experience with marketing mix modeling
• Experience with multi-touch attribution
• Formal statistical training
