Responsibilities
SUMMARY
Monitors and supervisors all activities of receiving clerks and mail clerk and oversee the operations of the on-site receiving dock.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Ensures incoming freight is accounted for and documented accurately.
• Inspect all incoming food and beverage in accordance with established quality standards
• Utilize safe-handling procedures with regard to perishable food and beverage
• Enforces receiving dock safety procedures and maintains log of daily events.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the receiving dock and office.
• Performs routine deliveries and courier runs as needed. Directly supervises employees at the receiving dock. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Drivers License, Forklift Operators Certification
Completion of training in safe-handling procedures for perishable items.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/ JOB DIMENSIONS: Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Eldorado from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Eldorado Attendance Policy. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes all shifts, weekends and holiday periods Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
