Position Overview
The Inventory Specialist (Product Control Specialist) will collect, verify and organize market research data to report market trends, competitor intelligence, and sales data for Inventory Management and Order Management in the Business Administration Division.

Responsibilities
• Analyze previous sales trends and forecast future sales for equipment to assist with the development of realistic sales goals.
• Create purchase orders, establish the appropriate amount of merchandise to order and ensure adequate levels of inventory are available to meet the sales demand.
• Determine appropriate product allocation to the five regional warehouse locations, based upon previous sales records and ensure availability by arranging warehouse transfers when necessary.
• Create weekly and monthly reports reviewing sales trends.
• Registration of new products in Canon internal systems for dealers and sales companies.
• Communicate and update the Regional Administrators regarding product changes, availability and discontinuation.
• Forecast and purchase third party vendor items .
• Schedule monthly inter-departmental meetings to provide status update of equipment and priority shipments.
• Some travel maybe required to regional offices and warehouses.
Qualifications
• A Bachelors degree is required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in business administration, sales administration or inventory control is required.
• Must be well organized and capable of formulating logical resolutions to problems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced envioronment.
• Good verbal and written skills are essential.
• Willing to work overtime to complete priority projects.
