Property Overview
Isle of Capri Casino® Hotel in Lake Charles, LA is dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional gaming and entertainment experience. The property features over 26,000 square feet of gaming space with more than 1,150 slot machines, 36 table games, 13 poker tables, 3 restaurants and 490 hotel rooms. The Lake Charles property employs over 700 Team Members.
Responsibilities
The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive. Other reasonable duties may be assigned.
1. Supervises processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries.
2. Ensures the safety and security of team members and customers.
3. Controls staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Supervises staff members and delegates duties.
4. Reviews and maintains department's inventory of maintenance supplies.
5. Communicates all maintenance task activities accomplished and assigned with Facilities Manager.
6. Supervises and coordinates timely completion of property and safety inspection reports, applicable OSHA compliance, EAP regulations and ADA building codes.
7. Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities and equipment on property including grounds.
8. Responsible for planning, controlling, communicating and implementing procedures and processes for the overall efficient operations of the department.
9. Ensure staff is trained and prepared to deliver the highest level of customer service to the guests in order that they might have a positive gaming and entertainment experience.
10. Develops staff, interviews, hires and evaluates personnel.
11. Delegates duties and assigns responsibilities.
12. Answers patrons' complaints and resolves problems.
13. Assists and advises other departments and personnel as necessary to ensure the successful performance of the Hotel and Company overall.
14. Meet with directors and managers as necessary.
15. Controls and facilitates processes to ensure proper head count and employee coverage in all operational departments. Monitors FTEs, actual head count and overtime.
16. Achieve departmental and individual performance goals and duties in a timely manner.
17. Demonstrate ability to understand, communicate and comply with company policies, processes and procedures.
18. Other duties as assigned.
