Job Summary
Under limited supervision of the Regional Logistics Manager, the position is responsible for performing all tasks related to the operations of the Logistics Depot or Hub. Will have responsibility to supervise team members over multiple locations. The Supervisor will be responsible for inventory accuracy, depot remote replenishment, all shipping and receiving functions (both physical & administrative), and overall operations at the depots and Hub/ DC.
Responsibilities
• Supervise employees in the completion of daily tasks
• Augment as needed the tasks of the direct team to prevent operational back logs
• Teach and mentor new team members on daily tasks
• Capable of completing both serialized equipment logistics functions and material functions
• Serialized equipment functions include:
◦ Knowledge of video, data, and phone devices (make, model, functions, and capabilities)
◦ Knowledge of ICOMs CPE functions (status of equipment – i.e. assigned to tech/warehouse), (entering into ICOMs and ICOMs functions (HITs)), ICOMs and Oracle status tracking
◦ Knowledge of test bench and/or other provisioning (DNCS, DAC, HITS)
• Material functions include:
◦ Knowledge of parts, functions, part numbers
◦ Knowledge of the MARS system and order fulfillment/processing
◦ Knowledge of Oracle system and functions related to materials (PO receipts, Warehouse to Warehouse Oracle transfers)
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• And/or other duties assigned by leadership aligned with operational goal achievement
Qualifications / Requirements
Management Skills
• Performs such additional duties, as the Logistics Operations Leadership may from time to time deem necessary.
• Ability to lead and influence team members in a positive and engaging manner
• Strong ability for self-management of day to day tasking and time scheduling
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with senior management, peers, staff, vendors, and contractors
Technical/Functional Competencies
• Oracle inventory management
• Fundamental understanding of supply chain and warehouse concepts, processes and drivers.
Key Experiences/Achievements
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum three years’ experience in Logistics operations
• Knowledgeable in both CPE and Material functions
Essential Job Functions
• Ability to Lift 50lbs on occasion
• Safe use of ladders
• Experience in forklift operation
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to local depots
