Job Summary
The Manager of Project Management is responsible for managing and directing the implementation of all Altice West Node Split Projects from inception of the project to completion. The scope of this role may require support in other Network/Infrastructure related projects as assigned. This leader will also directly manage a team of Project Managers that will be primarily focused on Node Split projects.
Responsibilities
• Lead and develop a team of Node Split Project Managers, including appropriate performance management and goal setting
• Build and maintain the end-to-end processes for Node Split project management, which includes activities within Workfront that involve template optimization, task service levels, and approval work flow captures
• Facilitate an environment of collaboration and continual communication between project teams and construction personnel
• Develop weekly KPI updates on project related successes and barriers to completion
• Builds in-depth and high-level reporting on node split success, homes passed impact, and potentially the verified improvement of service after a split has successfully been completed
Essential Functions
• Movement of projects from creation to completion
• Manages escalations related to labor, materials, or task management
• Ensures all projects adhere to reporting standards, including key fields that are required for executive level updates
• Coordinates with Construction leadership to ensure all efforts in the field are applicable and relevant to the projects that are in progress
• Utilization of data analysis tactics to create visibility into projects as well as highly critical deliverables from field personnel
Qualifications / Requirements/Experience
• College degree or equivalent work experience is required
• Demonstrated leadership skills promoting the development of team-members and Project Managers
• Adept in Workfront, including activities around template creation and milestone application
• An ability to present and discuss technical, functional and management information in a clear and concise manner that explains complex topics, is persuasive and promotes consensus
• Proven ability to build working relationships in cross-functional working groups
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including an ability to present and discuss technical, functional, and managerial information clearly and concisely
• Excels in the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while ensuring SLA’s are not impacted
• Data analysis capabilities, including advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, and SQL
Preferred Experience
• Experience in Node Split Project Management (field, Workfront, splicing, etc)
• Knowledge of logistics & materials life cycle within Altice
