Senior Product Marketing Manager, Activation
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Product Marketing, the Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for leading Activation Go-to-Market strategy and execution to support solutions for our clients . You will own the go-to-market process and be responsible for tailoring the message, packaging, and delivery of the solutions to market in partnership with Segment Marketing. You will also be responsible for bringing updated features and/or services to market, across all channels, environments and ad formats, working closely with our Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Corporate Marketing, Research, Sales/Sales Enablement, Business Development, Client Services and Solutions Engineering teams. You will work with product managers to improve the product offering based on the results and feedback from the marketing and sales channels. Collaboration is crucial to your success in this role as you will work across different organizations. This is a core role at the heart of all operations at the company.
• Own go-to-market product roadmap, strategy and execution of product launches: planning, messaging, packaging, working closely with Segment Marketing for targeted executions in channels/segments.
• Develop value proposition and messaging frameworks, and drive articulation of product portfolio positioning, aligned to IAS key goals.
• Support Activation partner initiatives and develop campaigns to drive activation of our products across platforms.
• Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with Segment Marketing to create compelling sales and marketing collateral as well as messaging and internal/external communications to drive adoption/conversion across products and buyer segments: brands/advertisers, agencies, publishers and ad tech partners.
• Collaborate with Segment Marketing to develop targeted segment/client intel and tools, including buyer personas, messaging and customer-facing sales tools.
• Work with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to develop training requirements and training on product positioning/messaging.
• Create content that articulates the benefits of our products, locally and globally.
• Lead ongoing market and competitive analysis with Research & Analytics and Data Science.
• Work with Corporate Marketing to produce thought leadership campaigns and execute/participate in events that support the business lines.
• Provide expertise and content support to rapid response strategies as needed.
Basic Qualifications
• 5-7+ years' professional experience managing marketing campaigns at an ad tech company, agency, marketer, FMP/Social Ads API platform, or DSP
• Experience building and executing marketing and go to market plans
• Superb communication skills, verbal and written and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
• Ability to influence and motivate colleagues across cross-functional teams and in a highly matrixed environment
• Team player, contributor and cheerleader
• Master multitasker
• BA/BS degree required, MBA or advanced degree a plus
Preferred Qualifications
• Project management experience and strong attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to try different things with minimal direction
• Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, PR, and Research/Data Analytics
• Quick decision-making abilities under tight timing and pressure
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment
