Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the successful daily shift operations of the Hotel Front Desk.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversees and ensures high standards of guest service and works closely with the Casino Hosts, Maintenance, Group Sales and other Casino team members in this regard.
• Reviews department data relative to Casino/Hotel activities, arrivals, promotions, local area and gaming activities.
• Assists with interviewing, hiring, training and evaluating staff.
• Responsible for scheduling and reviewing staffing levels to provide optimum service levels and timely completion of tasks.
• Manage team of front desk clerks in the hotel
• Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• High school diploma.
• 3+ years’ of hotel operations and supervisory experience preferred.
• Use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, Hotel LMS System, Micros, Lodgenet, Onity, and Valet systems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise and bright lights.
