Job Summary
Sr Program Operations Manager provides overall management and guidance for multiple programs. In this position you will serve as a direct report to the Federal Programs Sr Director within the Strategic Government Program Management Office.
Job Description
Responsible for successful implementation and expansion of multiple contracts. Develops and maintains customer required methodologies, procedures, metrics and systems to produce reports to measure program success.
• Report ad hoc, weekly, monthly and quarterly operating metrics
• Establish and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for managing execution of multiple contracts
• Enhance the flow of information and communication across multiple organizational boundaries
• Direct interface to customer and CenturyLink senior leadership on service related issues
• Demonstrate leadership to identify programs at risk and work with business and teams to mitigate with minimal budget and schedule impacts.
• Develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems through analysis, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
• Lead regular meetings between cross-functional business teams to review new program requests (intake), assess business purpose and benefits, and ultimately determine overall business priority
• Experience with Government contracting and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Communication, persuasive, analytical and problem solving skills required
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Project and PowerPoint)
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• CLEARANCE:TS/SCI
• Some local travel required
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related disciplines or 7-10 years equivalent work experience
• 5 - 7 years’ experience in Program management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) desired
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation desired
