Description
Position at The Occasions Group, Inc.
Position Summary:Operates Indigo, Horizon, Thermotype, Heidelberg, Cutter, Riso EZ, MZ, Offset Sheet fed, Offset Web fed, Flexographic or Digital printing and converting presses. Reviews printing work orders for special instructions. Ensures that production deadlines are met. Maintains records of production output. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Qualifications Required:
• Basic computer proficiency;
• Standard work procedures with simple process; and
• Does not require previous experience. Training time is typically less than 2 weeks.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Prepares plates, Dies, prints and collates finished pages;
• Ensures quality standards of printed products;
• Sets up, cleans, services, adjusts and makes routine equipment repairs; and
• Ensures that adequate supplies of paper, ink, and other materials are available.
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
