Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Visible, front-line guest service resource. Works non-gaming areas of the resort to provide directions, visible deterrent, and access control to hotel and other restricted areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Includes, but is not limited to the following.)
• Provides family-style service to guests – answering questions and providing directions in non-gaming areas of the resort.
• Control access to hotel areas by asking guests to show room keys.
• Control access to other areas such as employee-only areas and parking garages as needed.
• Observe and report – notify security of suspicious activity, policy violations, and emergencies.
• Patrol certain non-gaming areas of the building, providing visible assistance to guests and reporting anomalies to Security.
• Regular, predictable attendance in accordance with department policy.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
• FAMILY STYLE SERVICE: Employee is required to meet the following Service Standards:
• Welcome the guest: Give a warm, genuine, and signature family style welcome to each guest.
• Engage the guest: Create a positive overall experience by providing genuine family style service to each internal and external guest.
• Part with the guest: Give a warm, genuine, and signature family style parting comment to each guest.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with staff and guest.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required.
• Preferred some security or related experience.
