Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition Partner will focus on the timely proactive sourcing, screening, and hiring of quality candidates through innovative recruitment strategies while maintaining reasonable costs in the hiring process for roles globally. The TAP will build a healthy talent pipeline and report on industry trends and other recruitment analytics. The goal is to attract and retain the best and most effective talent that will uphold Global Eagle’s corporate values and mission while ensuring we meet our business goals and, ultimately, deliver the best client experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that management globally is educated on the recruitment process and understands its role and coordinate the requisition process with hiring managers and track all requisition activity.
• Drive results driven, detailed job intake and partner with hiring managers globally to ensure role clarity and expectations when recruiting to understand their team goals and keys areas of needs for the company.
• Source talent by building networks and cultivating relationships within talent networks globally to find qualified and “great fit” candidates
• Maintain a regular dialogue with senior Hiring Managers and local HR teams to gain a deep understanding of current and future recruitment needs in the region and create a hiring partnership that yields success, consistently positive results and credibility
• Develop a talent pipeline globally of internal and external talents including passive job seekers and targeted talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles
• Identify hard-to-fill roles and source innovative channels for recruitment
• Manage job posting globally using the best-performing recruitment channels which include: maximizing social strategy media job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, and comprehensive recruitment campaign planning
• Pre-screen, Phone-Interview and Shortlist candidates globally using behavioral interviewing techniques which align with the core key criteria for each requirement to evaluate candidate’s qualifications, technical skillset, cultural fit and overall eligibility for the role and provide candidate recommendations to the Hiring Manager
• Arrange and facilitate interviews globally, feedback and post-interview Hiring Manager debriefs for all positions being worked on directly or on in conjunction with 3rd party agencies/search firms
• Extend verbal offers of employment to selected candidates in partnership with HR at the direction of Hiring Managers in line with compensation and business guidelines
• Help improve enterprise recruiting efficiency by evaluating the recruiting process for bottlenecks, waste, process responsiveness, etc. and frequently review with regional leaders to drive transparency and process improvements
• Develop attractive and compliant job postings for open positions. Document approvals and post openings.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on industry trends and market hiring activity to better understand our competitive landscape. Stay current on external trends through professional associations, publications, and professional networks.
• Monitor applicant flow to ensure a diverse and qualified applicant pool.
• Serve as the primary POC with candidates ensuring timely and prompt communications and facilitating a relationship between them and the hiring manager. Keep candidates apprised of their status including those not selected for further consideration. Coordinate interviews during each stage.
• Partner with respective HR Managers globally and Global Total Rewards Director throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure the completion/adherence to relevant hiring approvals, Job Descriptions and equitable hiring processes are followed
• Provide complete, accurate and engaging information to candidates about our business, mission, and vision
• Support and collaboratively drive the identification and creation of innovative new strategies to attract and assess talent
• Maintain accurate hiring documentation on all requisitions, interviews, and candidates through Taleo (ATS) to ensure an ‘audit-ready’ posture at all times
• Provide weekly hiring progress reports (and periodic recruiting metrics) for the business, Hiring Managers and respective HR Managers.
• Leverage professional network, organizations, publications & self-development to stay informed of recruiting trends, techniques, and best practice to enable TA & Global Eagle to be at the forefront of talent initiatives/practices ensuring that we become an Employer of Choice
• Special projects as directed
Qualifications/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent additional years of education and experience
• Minimum 6 years of in-house full life cycle recruitment experience in corporate, tech and software recruitment. Global field recruiting experience is strongly preferred
• Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-caliber recruiting environment
• Strong time management & organizational skills
• Experience with Taleo Business Edition (Applicant Tracking System)
• Ability to work independently, enthusiastically, and creatively with limited supervision
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and candidates
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple demands without missing deadlines.
• Proven ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines for both short and long-term hiring needs.
