Job Summary
The LEAD HR HRBP is responsible for a range of performance management and employee relations activities for a specific Business Unit. The role will support end to end processes of in-scope items for their assigned BU. In addition, the role will mentor SR HRBP’s and be responsible to handle escalated or complex issues.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsible for end to end process and resolution of the following processes:investigations, corrective action, Performance Improvement Plans (PIP’s), Reduction in Force Support, other related processes currently handled by HRBP’s.
• Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors related to investigations, corrective action processes, PIP processes, RIF’s, etc.
• Acts as a liaison between line leaders and HRBP’s.Interfaces with other HR COE’s, Shared Services, and legal to streamline processes and standardize work.
• Handles high risk or escalations for in-scope work (i.e. high-risk investigations, complex performance management issues, etc.)
• Mentors SR HRBP’s and provides general advice and counsel on complex cases / issues
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in business or HR related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience similar roles (HRBP, ER Specialist, HR Consultant, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in business or HR related field
• Large company HR experience in a COE / Shared Services environment
• Experience mentoring less experienced employees on complex issues
• Hands-on experience and capability in working with both a represented and non-represented workforce
• Familiarity and/or experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies –
