Out of Home Media Supervisor
Job Summary
The candidate will manage and work with the Strategist in planning, implementation and maintenance of strategically focused OOH plans for assigned accounts. This is a dynamic opportunity to join a forward thinking agency.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• 20% - Planning
• 20% - Strategic Thinking
• 20% - Negotiation
• 40% - Supervision
• Oversee all requests for proposal process, negotiations and assessment
• Develop and present strategically focused plans and recommendations with sound rationale
• Build and Manage strong Brand Team and Vendor relationships
• Participate in strategy development and brainstorming meetings with Brand Team, and with Client if requested.
• Work with Brand Team to ensure plans are on strategy and meet Client objectives
• Negotiate OOH media buys and teach negotiation strategies and tactics to Strategist and Assistant Strategist on team
• Oversee and manage OOH Strategist/Assistant Strategists in their execution of all phases of buy process including issuance of contracts, print production, materials delivery, scheduling, posting reports
• Be an advocate for OOH print production services across brand teams
• Stay current with the evolving landscape and on the advances in technology, innovation, digital OOH area, measurement and research as the industry advances forward
Supervisory Responsibilities
• Supervise OOH Strategist and Assistant’s day to day workload, as well as monitor the accuracy and professionalism in work produced.
Knowledge and Skills Required
• BA/BS Degree
• 4 -5 years of media planning & buying experience
• Must be detail oriented, accurate and have strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including math proficiency
• Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem solving abilities
• Ability to integrate and work successfully with various Agency teams, handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure
• Knowledge of Traditional, Digital and Place-Based Out of Home sectors on a local, regional, and national basis
• Strong understanding of basic media planning terms and concepts such as GRPs, ROI, reach and frequency
• Expert understanding of TAB OOH Measurement methodology, and high comfort level with utilizing as part of planning process
• Ability to effectively utilize and interpret other media research tools
• Ability to integrate and work successfully with various Agency teams, handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure
