Job Summary:
This role is the leader of the Global Supply Chain Platform level Planning team. In this role you are responsible for owning the Operations relationship with sales and other demand teams, overseeing the creation of the weekly platform demand forecasts, co-develop corresponding part level forecasts, orchestrating the planning of the supply chain, managing the supply, setting the customer commitments, creating the official sales/ship plan, and very importantly developing your team. Scope includes EGM, Shufflers, Table Games & Systems. This role also interacts frequently with Sales, Production, Sourcing and Product management/engineering teams to develop the plan, execute the plan and address any deviations from plan.
This role will offer significant opportunity to build relationship and influence across Commercial, Engineering and Sourcing teams and has potential to be highly visible. It also offers an opportunity to create a world class supply chain planning team for SG. You will learn the commercial Gaming marketplace, demand forecast creation, develop demand shaping tactics, product transitions and support P&L management. This role has additional growth opportunities internally and helps add key skillsets that will give the candidate opportunities to grow the business from other areas.
Position Requirements
>Essential Job Functions:
• Key point of contact for connecting sales to the operation including handling excursions (short or excess) on parts, specific deals, industry constraints and demand variations from forecast
• Lead a team of planners who create demand forecasts, manage supply, orchestrate the supply chain, set lead times, manage transitions and maintain the POR for sales/ships for EOQ and/or other industry measures.
• Develop demand sensing inputs/outputs to translate customer and financial requirements into actionable system and commodity level forecasts for Production and Sourcing, which balance customer experience with operational metrics
• Co-develop commodity level product transition plans to effectively migrate through the product life cycle without customer delivery interruptions or excess material supply
• Effectively prepare the Sourcing team in developing commodity level capacity and supply plans that meet the prescribed demand plan as well as providing insight for contingency planning
• Govern demand consumption rates and provide early warning and mitigation options to supply issues
• Establish demand shaping programs with options management teams during times of supply imbalances or when required to meet a shift in the regional marketing or financial plans
• Work supply imbalances, both excesses and shortages, with the Supply Chain and options management teams to correct as quickly and cost effectively as possible
• Develop and implement predictive analytics and forecast methods that suit different types of demand
• Coordinate cross functional team members, including communication of risk, attainment, liability and supportability – lead, gain consensus in S&OP forums
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain management, Engineering or Finance. Masters Degree preferred.
Required Experience:
• 8-10 years of professional work experience in high mix, high volume engineering/technology products environment.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Superior analytical skills for the preparation of product demand forecasts, financial profitability of product and inventory management issues

Possess knowledge of supply chain activities, including transformation of natural resources, raw materials, and components into a finished product that is delivered to the end customer.
• Measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to executive management.
