Position Overview
The Global Accountant is responsible for partnering with Senior Accountants in accounting, consolidation, and reporting of PSAV’s international subsidiaries. This includes loading subsidiaries’ monthly activity into Oracle and preparing required journal entries to complete the monthly consolidation process. Partner in running monthly reporting of International results to management.
Key Job Responsibilities
International Month End Close
• Partner in the month end close process for the international subsidiaries. Execute the steps to load their financial results in Oracle.
• Create and upload journal entries as needed to adjust the international results.
Intercompany
• Execute the intercompany receivable/payable process for the entire company. This includes sharing intercompany charges with the subsidiaries and performing the monthly reconciliations to ensure proper elimination through researching and resolving variances
Foreign exchange
• Under direction of senior accountant, run the monthly foreign exchange translation analysis
• Identify anomalies for follow up by Senior Accountant
Reporting
• Run the monthly reporting package of international results for management for review by Senior Accountant prior to distribution
Required Experience:
Job Qualifications
• Minimum of BS/BA in Accounting
• CPA achieved or in process a plus
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
• Experience with accounting for foreign operations is a plus but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP software
• Thorough knowledge of Excel (advanced level)

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by PSAV based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
