We are looking for a Manager, People & Organization Development to join our Boston team.
Performance Outcomes (People and Organization):
• Partner with People Managers and business leaders to actively identify and diagnose business needs and deliver customized, appropriate solutions that support leadership and team effectiveness, organizational design and alignment, change management and learning and development opportunities.
• Serve as an internal consultant and facilitate specific interventions such as new leader development, team operating principles, team building, 360 feedback, effective goal planning, communication excellence, etc.
• Design and execute talent related initiatives such as Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Developmental Assessments, critical role learning paths, and process improvements in essential talent management programs.
• Develop a leadership development program to develop high performing, high potential employees.
• Supports the performance management execution by training employees and managers; communicating enhancements, continuous process improvement, and metrics reporting.
• Develop career pathing tools and resources for leaders as well as employees as it relates to our overall performance management process.
• Build and utilize a full set of organization development tools and frameworks to support capability development in key development areas.
• Track progression of employees and leaders succession plan. Provide insight and strategy on how to retain key talent (high performers/high potential).
• Be the point person for talent management systems and tools for the agency.
• Create and execute key training for the entire agency that supports our talent management, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Participate in diversity initiatives, in coordination with the agency's Affirmative Action Plan and Diversity Council.
Learning and Development (People and Organization):
• Conduct an annual needs analysis to identify effective training opportunities for all levels within the agency.
• Partner with HR team and agency leadership to identify multiple sources of training resources as well as effective platforms to host the training.
• Collaborate with People Managers on internal training opportunities based on findings from departmental needs, stay/exit interviews, etc; create, conduct and facilitate.
• Track training engagements for the agency and report effectiveness outcomes.
Reporting:
• Perform analysis and identify critical talent metrics to include workforce planning, succession planning, talent management outcomes, promotions, retention/attrition, high potential metrics. Prepare and present to leadership for action items.
• Evaluate exit and stay interview data to incorporate into training opportunities.
Requirements
• Four-year degree is required.
• 7+ years working in Human Resources, talent development and/learning and development.
• Experience in the creative/advertising environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, often stressful environment.
