Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
The Database Marketing Analyst supports the Vice Presidents of Operations and Director of Marketing Analytics by providing actionable analytic reports and insights. Primarily, this Team Member will develop, implement, and update analytical frameworks in all areas of the business including (but not limited to) marketing, direct mail, food & beverage, hotel and labor.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, audit, revise, and implement comprehensive analytical frameworks that serve both property and corporate leadership teams.
• Support the company’s strategic goals, by updating, reviewing, analyzing, inquiring, and commenting on reports. Position will be closely involved in deploying and supporting data warehouse reporting and analysis.
• Monitor marketing programs by providing recommendations and guidance through evaluation of program effectiveness through analysis.
• Works with Vice Presidents of Operations and Director of Marketing Analytics as an analytics leader. Improve marketing and operations processes in ways that improve service and increase earnings.
• Builds and leads ROI models that measure and improve management of player reinvestment, marketing spend and customer management.
• Supports the Operations team in making strategic recommendations predicated on data and analysis.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Ability to be a dynamic, self-motivator that is comfortable communicating to corporate senior management, property executive teams, general corporate and property staff members.
• Ability to perform duties effectively under frequent time pressures.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge, skills, and abilities with personal computing and analytical models (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, etc.)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, IT or relevant experience.
• Up to 2 years’ experience in operation analytics preferred, but strong entry level candidates will be considered.
• Experience in Data Warehouse Business Systems such as Teradata, Cognos BI Reporting, and/or SQL query writing is a strong plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate and articulate comprehensive and detailed analytical models in executive summary terms and presentation. Ability to effectively communicate at both the senior executive level as well as front line management levels.
GUEST SERVICE STANDARDS
Team Member will report to work on time, adhere to behavior, dress and grooming guidelines. Provide courteous and friendly service to all Eldorado guests and Team Members. Promote a safe work environment and report any problems as they arise. The Team Member has an affirmative duty to stay current with and apply all pertinent company and departmental policies, procedures and rules.
