Overview and Responsibilities
This position oversees the reception desk for Nickelodeon, West Coast in Burbank, CA. Related functions including but not limited to: telephone switchboard, answering general emails inquires, greeting guest/visitors and employees, and conference room scheduling.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Provide professional customer service to employees, guests, callers and vendors
• Meet and greet all visitors and follow up with their Nickelodeon contact as needed
• Answer all incoming calls, forwarding to the appropriate employee or providing general information to public inquiries
• Provide general support to employees including studio information and directions
• Respond to the general email inquiries sent to studioinfo@nick.com
• Maintain and coordinate conference and screening room scheduling using Outlook
• Create advertisements for studio events using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Send out employee announcements via email and intercom
• Support Core Services department by working external/internal special events and providing additional administrative assistance
Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Expert interpersonal communication skills, both written and spoken
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a receptionist, facilities, or customer service capacity
• High level of organizational skills and ability to handle time sensitive tasks
• Ability to remain focused in a demanding environment
Additional Qualifications
• Team Player, flexible, collaborative and strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred
