Job Description:
The Coordinator, Talent Acquisition role supports the Talent Acquisition team of Horizon Media. We seek a dynamic, high energy and motivated person who can help serve the business in various capacities. This person will have HR and recruiting based roles, and cross-functional interaction.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• 80% Administrative Assistance
◦ Provide day-to-day support of 6-8 recruiters, ensuring timely data management and communication in a fast paced, hectic Recruiting/HR environment
◦ Assist in scheduling of interviews
◦ Enter all candidates/visitors into Visitor Management System
◦ Assist in coordinating recruiting events
◦ Meeting coordination and set up
◦ Process and track background checks
◦ Other duties as assigned
• 20% Onboarding
◦ Assist with New Hire processing and on-boarding
◦ Manage IT account creation (Nexus)
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in human resources and/or recruiting a strong plus
• ATS exposure and experience preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize workload and follow through with tasks to completion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to effectively communicate with all individuals throughout company
• Self-motivated, high energy, strong work ethic, superior organization and detail orientation
• Customer service and team first attitude
• Planning, organization, and prioritization skills a must
• Proficient computer skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
