We are looking for a Marketing Lead to join the Consumer Products Team and report to the Global Marketing Director of Activision|Blizzard Consumer Products Group.
The focus of Consumer Products Marketing is to extend Blizzard Entertainment brands through licensing and other partner activations, event executions, e-commerce campaigns, retail programs while also contributing to the division’s expansion into international territories.
You have the ability to see the bigger picture while also being executional, being both focused and agile in order to meet team goals. Being self-motivated with strong communication and follow-up skills are a requirement, as being a driver for all owned projects is paramount.
More specifically, responsibilities include:
• Creation and execution of key marketing plans and documents such go-to-market strategy and roadmaps
• Execution of effective, innovative, and cost-efficient marketing campaigns for key product launches
• Aid in championing and socializing Consumer Products initiatives to internal teams and partners such as Licensing, Publishing, Legal, Public Relations, Social Media, DMM, CRM and Events
• Collaborate with Licensees and other partners, socializing and supporting marketing initiatives
• Monitor campaign status, deliver reporting documents for Leadership and other partners
• Aid in delivering engaging experiences at key pop-culture conventions and fan events such as BlizzCon, providing on-site support as needed
Requirements
• A minimum of 7 years minimum experience in marketing, consumer products or video games a plus
• Excellent prioritization skills, able to multi-tasks and handle high-volume projects with tight turn-arounds
• Ability to communicate deftly and efficiently with internal and external partners of varying skill sets
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong knowledge and passion for gaming and emerging platforms a plus
