Position Overview
This is a Home office sales position based in the MidWest Region, preferably in either Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois or Iowa. The District Sales Rep. will call directly on our Photo Specialty dealer base. Job requires min. 3 years of experience in the Photographic Industry including Sales and Event Marketing experience. Requires a self motivated person who can travel up to 70%. Must have effective communication skills and be able to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for Sales within the ITCG Division which includes consumer and pro level camera/video/printing/scanning equipment.
• Must communicate effectively to both external client and internal Canon departments.
• Full knowledge of quota responsibilities and strategy to meet sales targets.
• Creative responsibility includes event marketing and planning strategies, both retail and on-line
• Provide dealer reports covering industry and market trends
• Inform Sr. Manager of territory positioning and planning
• Must be able to manage internal documentation and multi task on several key projects.
• Overnight and weekend travel flexibility required
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the Photo Industry.
• Sales background preferred.
• Good knowledge of PC applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in creative event Marketing and planning, both retail and on-line, preferred
• Requires a self motivated person who can travel up to 70%.
• Experience preferred includes key demographic strategy and approach to promotion planning.
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• May require considerable travel throughout sales territory (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary)."
