Job Description
Human Resources Business Analyst
Department: Human Resources
This position oversees the operation, utilization, implementation and training for global Human Resources Systems. Will work to ensure systems are utilized to their full potential. Will facilitate data mining of systems to aide in the development and reporting of key Human Resources metrics.
Essential Functions
• Serve as HCM system subject matter expert, providing specific expertise in the areas of report writing, utilization, data integrity and data analytics
• Support HR systems implementation, maintain and assist with HCM system updates
• Act as a key Business Stakeholder for HR related applications, and as a liaison between Information Technology, Finance, and HR
• Coordinate work flow and data API interfaces to meet system requirements with third party vendors and ensure all interfaces are functioning as designed
• Serve as a liaison between 3rd party vendors and internal stakeholders
• Implement new features and enhancements to the HCM systems
• Maintain audits of the data in accordance with quality control standards and procedures
• Develop user training material for HCM systems
• Assist with payroll compliance procedures
• Ensure 100% compliance with all standards operating procedures as they relate to Six Flags policies and procedures
• Assist in developing and distributing communication pieces internally and externally
• Responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate generation and publication of employment related statistics and reports
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements Skills
• 3-5 years of Human Resource System experience required
• Experience with standard HR business processes and functions
• Experience with database management
• Strong technical background including MS SQL and MS Office Products
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Strong leadership, motivational and organizational skills
• Able to handle extremely sensitive data with highest confidentiality
• Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner
• Ability to analyze information and convert related activities into a comprehensive work plan
• Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management
• Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
• Bachelor's degree preferred
