Job Summary:
iHeartMedia has an immediate opening for a full-time Inside Sales Team Lead. The Inside Sales Team Lead is responsible for their own individual sales responsibilities in additional to leading their team in building new relationships and calling on existing iHeartMedia clients to discuss advertising opportunities across multi-platforms including mobile, online, outdoor, radio, events and more. Through both inbound reactive web-based leads and proactive outbound campaign management, you and your team will present unique package offerings and work with internal sales partners to maximize revenue opportunities. Successful candidates must be energetic team-players, capable of maintaining focus in achieving their individual goals while leading their team in exceeding revenue quotas. Responsibilities
• Manage an ongoing funnel of between 50-100 (new and existing) accounts including approximately 20 contacts daily
• Manage a team of Inside Sellers tasked with selling iHeartMedia inventory and products
• Expand client knowledge of iHeartMedia Products
• Creatively help both service clients and provide consultative direction on the best use of their advertising funds given the campaign goals
• Partner with local iHeartMedia markets to create targeted campaigns
• Meet/exceed sales & revenue targets (individual and team)
• Set correct client expectations during the sales process in order to create an outstanding experience
Qualifications
• Professional demeanor including outstanding phone etiquette
• Experience in a customer care environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Multiple languages strongly preferred
• Media sales experience preferred but not required
• Ability to design, deliver and execute marketing strategies and presentations
• Prior demonstrated prospecting experience through cold calling and networking
Education and Experience
• College degree required, Masters desirable
• 5+ years of professional work experience in sales or related field with a proven track record of consistent career growth/reaching sales targets and revenue goals
• A minimum of 3 years sales experience within a structured commission plan and regular quota requirements desired
• Management or team lead experience preferred
