Description
The Associate Account Executive is an entry-level position wherein staff gains experience implementing Everyday Health Pro campaigns and provides client management support to the broader AE team. The Associate Account Executive is assigned a list of accounts for which he/she is responsible for working with the assigned Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to effectively support campaign execution, creative proofing, ongoing program pacing and client reporting.This position plays a key role in ensuring client expectations and implementation timelines are met. The platforms employed will include but are not limited to digital media campaigns, email campaigns, and other tactics aimed at increasing physician awareness and utilization of specific pharmaceutical brands. The Associate Account Executive collaborates with a dynamic cross-functional team of the company’s sales, sales strategy, MLR, design, deployment, and operations staff. As such, the Associate Account Executive is a highly-organized communicator, both verbally and in written form.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports overall campaign implementation for assigned brands including creative asset proofing/finalization, product implementation, program pacing and overall tracking.
• Day-to-day liaison with internal functional partners including AdOps, Deployment, Delivery and Gain Share Operations.
• Helps team ensure exceptional client customer service focused on meeting campaign and timeline expectations.
• Engage with other departments to ensure promotional campaigns are developed and implemented to ensure optimum results.
• Manage campaign pacing & optimization with cross-functional partners, and monthly billing reconciliations to ensure monthly, quarterly and program revenue expectations are met.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of EH Pro products, inventory and pricing via collaboration with internal departments.
• Work with data and deployment team to ensure list match accuracy and delivery.
• Use dashboard to provide key campaign performance metrics and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• 4 Year College Degree or other advanced degree in business and/or marketing communications
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to understand the medical / Pharmaceutical industry regulatory environment, organizing principles and business models
• Copy writing skills that involves the ability to re-purpose existing materials preferred
• Ability to understand the clinical aspect of Pharma brands
• Ability to understand the medical / Pharmaceutical industry regulatory environment, organizing principles and business models
• Agency experience a plus
• Passion for new and emerging technologies and an understanding of how they can be applied to benefit businesses.
• Understanding of digital content, marketing platforms/delivery systems and their business models
• Proven ability to rapidly assimilate clinical information, market research data, and prescriber data, to effectively develop strategic and tactical plans that are consistent with existing sales and marketing objectives
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, parallel projects
• Strong ability to identify technical solutions to business problems/needs
• Experience working in positions with high personal accountability combined with the ability and experience to influence decision-making
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently – self-motivated, knowledgeable and passionate for success
• Ability to solve problems and bring timely resolution to issues.
• Ability to collaborate and work well internally with internal departments and stakeholders (sales, sales strategy, editorial, design, MLR, marketing, operations, development, site directors).
• Superior listening and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy, sense of humor.
• Self-starter, ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel as needed
