Job Summary
The Supervisor of Technical Support is responsible for scheduling personnel for new installations, operations and maintenance in support of a classified Government networks.
Job Description
• This position supports P2912 in providing supervision for installation of new sites, modifications to existing sites and operations and maintenance
• Candidate will manage technicians whose work includes, implementation, and repair support for P2912
• Responsibilities include adherence and updates to SOPs, integration support with Network Operations Center (NOC), hiring new employees and updating status reports
• Ability to provide hands on technical support and mentorship, to include coaching and development of employees with regards to new processes and quality standards, performance management, safety, and technical skill sets.
• The Supervisor Technical Support provides oversight to ISP Installation and Maintenance technical staff including the following tasks:
◦ Maintains staff schedules
◦ Ensures tools are properly accounted
◦ Ensures staff is appropriately trained
◦ Maintains maintenance logs
◦ Ensure adherence to installation standards restoration procedures, and sound engineering practices
◦ Provide quality checks on work performed by ISP technicians
◦ Completes Site Coordination Access Request Forms, allowing technician access to government facilities
◦ Ensures personnel complete safety and compliance training
◦ Provides input into weekly status meeting
Qualifications
• Experience with installation procedures
• Experience with supervision of personnel
• Experience Cisco MSTP, MSSP and MSPP equipment helpful
• Offer of employment contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Good driving record
• Minimum Qualifications
• Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, Software, or Networks; or a related technical or vocational education or equivalent experience
• Five or more years applicable work experienceEducation
• US Citizenship required
• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• Must maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information (applicants selected will be subject to a government security re-investigation
