Job Summary
Single point of contact for assigned customer or Professional Services projects which typically have a significant revenue scope, highly complex product needs or require significant project management due to the size of the organization. Applies a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in conjunction with an understanding of the business to recommend strategy, advance technology and develop innovative solutions. Manages any interactions on the project from the customer order or contract signature through implementation to ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Description
• Manages projects related to customer orders of large to moderate scope and complexity to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished with prescribed business requirements, time frames, and funding parameters. Establishes, tracks and maintains project schedules, manages internal organizations to meet customer dates and communicates weekly with all stakeholders. Escalates and follows up to identify and offer resolutions for customer issues with vendors and/or internal departments.
• Oversees the outside plant, procurement and logistics activities associated with projects to meet customer expected deployment and install dates. Responsible for ensuring the completion of any engineering and/or turnover activities and documents. Manages and tracks milestone completion for revenue recognition.
• Performs drafting of SEP details when needed; creating and designing documents which effectively meet business and/or customer project related objectives. Examples of documentation includes management reports, SEP's, drawings for internal/external projects, or related project documentation. Provides a method of storing, accessing, reviewing and delivering documents that required review, draft and revisions through collaboration between team members and technical experts.
• Receives and inventories materials as well as possibly rack and stack of said materials per prescribed Site Engineering Packages (SEPs). Ensures timely purchases of project bill of materials. Interacts with vendors, sub-contractors and labor providers to ensure timely arrival of project components and completion of project sub-tasks.
