Job Summary
Service driven individual providing value add contributions to PD&T SLT. Cross functional role that engages with various supporting business units and executive leadership. Works closely with executive management to track, forecast, and analyze staffing capacity. Manages incoming demands, create resource dashboards for forecasting and annual spend as related to the budget targets. Also assists PD&T budget lead assigned to BU to support in the execution of contracts, HW/SW maintenance/renewals, purchase order creation and tracking of spend.
Job Description
• Maintains strong partnership with SVP and their direct leadership.
• Central point of contact for the BU for staffing management, including staff augmentation via consulting.
• Understands the individual teams needs including specifics around resources (skills, expertise, timing and numbers), to validate funding, ensure we utilize the correct resource types to lower the costs to the company yet support the needs of the demand.
• To gather all pieces of the puzzle and provide value by assisting in the analysis of resources / staffing plan (capacity) and incoming work from intake, as well as product/PMO as related to approved projects (including project and non-project work) for purposes of keeping the team aligned with their budget and that they are only working on approved items. To provide Resource Dashboards to the VP at a high level as well as to each individual Directors teams so they can be informed at all times of their resource spending as it is related to incoming work.
• Responsible for the issuing purchase orders, task orders, and working with sourcing on contracts.
• Works closely with the budget lead assigned to BU to assist in tracking of actuals and keeping a POR for YTD spend as well as forecasted spend.
• Submit accruals to corporate finance monthly where applicable to keep the budget in sync with forecast. This requires quote collection or or bid submission.
• Ensure that all approvals are received from VP level management.
• Suggests plans to integrate new and existing processes, while providing white-glove service to downstream consumers.
• Provides input and supports planning and prioritization for business process engineering related activities
• Participates in continuous review and update to ensure that processes meet changing business unit conditions
• Identifies and documents simplified processes for improvement, replacing heavy outdated processes where applicable. Identifies and analyzes gaps between current processes and the desired stated
• Develops service-oriented process performance measures and plans the transition to a new process
• As role progresses, this role will be responsible for detailed resource allocation planning with senior leadership to ensure alignment of resources to programs to budgets.

Required:
• Strong knowledge of PD&T process, methodology and procedures
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to relationship
• Ability to effectively interact with internal business customers and corporate budget team while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience using SAP, Clarity, and other financial tools
• Demonstrated ability to produce results, solve complex problems and lead team in a challenging environment
• Ability drive resolution of complex problems under tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but strong consideration for applicants without a degree but with many years’ experience in a technology environment.
