Description

Our Model Citizens (or MCs) are one of the main attractions of our park and create the guest experience that makes our park unique. As an MC you will play a role in creating an interactive experience for the children and families who will visit our park. We have an action phrase, a daily reminder of our special brand of service excellence: “Make Someone a Hero Today!” This is our approach to the way we treat our guests and each other, a spirit of trust and caring that makes each day a fun and rewarding experience.
Job Role:
Day Service Associates perform daily cleaning and detailing of the park’s bathrooms and pathways. MCs will also stock each restroom and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the designated storage areas. Operation Presentation Associates are also responsible for managing the Resort’s waste by sweeping and changing out trash receptacles on pathways and queue lines for rides.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Guest Service Associate working in the Operation Presentation Grounds division of Park Presentation, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the Park’s cleanliness during our operating hours. Associates are required to work as self-starters in a team environment to utilize cleaning tools and equipment to refresh public areas and ensure a visually pleasing and safe aesthetic is maintained for our guests when we are open. The job duties and abilities are listed below:
• Maintains overall cleanliness of the Park during park operation. Tasks vary but include custodial work, sweeping pathways, stocking of the restrooms, use of specialized cleaning equipment, etc.
• Maintains the overall cleanliness of designated restrooms.
• Follows all departmental and park policies and procedures
• Keeps tools, machinery, and all other company equipment in clean and working order.
• Follows all training guidelines and safety protocol such as hazardous communications, blood borne pathogens, ride access control, ladder safety, etc.
• Carries a variety of cleaning tools and supplies while in the Park during operation.
• Organizes and stocks supplies as needed and communicates stock levels to department Supervisor to ensure stock is ordered in a timely manner.
• Communicates any operational, guest, maintenance, safety or staffing issues to Supervisor as needed.
• Able to utilize a handheld radio unit for communication with other department members.
• Self-motivated and able to efficiently work alone as well as in a team environment.
Background and Experience:
• Prior experience in a Theme Park setting is preferred.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support park operation.
• Self-motivated with demonstrable initiative.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Must be capable of training and creating documentation as needed to support the Department.
• Must have strong problem solving skills and remain dedicated to providing outstanding guest service.
• Able to be on their feet standing or walking majority for their shift.
• Able to lift or carry up to 34 pounds.
Education:
Minimum high school diploma.
Other:
• Must speak English fluently and be able to follow directions written in the, English language.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support park operation.
• The earliest shifts in the Initial Presentation department can begin as early as 9:30am and the latest shift can go up to 11:00pm.
EMPLOYEES
