We are looking for talented, enthusiastic candidates to join our growing team as an Account Executive. The right candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter, unafraid to ask questions and ready to see a project through to the very end, ensuring all along the way that we remain focused on the client.
This position, based in Paramus, NJ, is a project management position focusing on medical communications and pharmaceutical marketing.
The Account Executive is responsible to ensure all administrative tasks related to the management of various projects (live, digital, and print) are appropriately and proactively managed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Timeline management
• Status report updates as needed
• Routing of programs through editorial, art, production and printing ensuring they stay on track and within budget
• For live product theaters, liaise with pharmaceutical associations to ensure that requirements are understood and met and deadlines are met
• Sending faculty invitations and manage and report on RSVPs
• Traveling onsite as support to ensure meetings are run effectively
• Creation of purchase orders and tracking and reporting of goods received
• Scheduling and attending meetings as needed, sending recaps as requested
• Submitting files to clients for their review, feedback and approval
• Staying up to date on assigned pharmaceutical client compliance procedures (medical, legal and regulatory review processes)
• Reconciliation of all program expenses upon program completion
• Assumption of other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position and can add value
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• 1-4 years' relevant program management and/or medical education/communications agency experience
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, verbal and written communication, and relationship building
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to travel minimum 25% of time
• Positive attitude
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios and shifting priorities
