OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY20th Century Fox
One of the world's largest producers and distributors of motion pictures, 20th Century Fox Film (TCFF) produces, acquires and distributes motion pictures throughout the world. These motion pictures are produced or acquired by the following units of 20th Century Fox Film: Twentieth Century Fox, Fox 2000 Pictures, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Fox International Productions, and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. During fiscal 2017, TCFF placed 25 motion pictures in general release in the United States. The motion pictures produced and/or distributed by TCFF in the United States and international territories in fiscal 2017 included Hidden Figures, Logan, Jackie, and The Boss Baby. TCFF has released or currently plans to release approximately 23 motion pictures in the United States in fiscal 2018.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of Fox Enterprise Media Framework Team, primarily responsible for controlling the quality of development of the organization’s core Digital Asset Management Platform through test case development, test case automation, and release troubleshooting. Responsible for implementing and enforcing test case processes, procedures and practices. Establish and lead a team of qualified test engineers to validate and verify software applications prior to final release. Leverage technology to improve QA efficiency and effectiveness, administering QA environments and systems, and expanding the use of automation.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field plus two (2) years of QA engineering or related experience in quality assurance process, including experience in test estimation, test case preparation, test execution and defect management; manual and automated testing; QA testing of Java applications; and building automation test harnesses using Selenium.
*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Agile-Scrum; 2) OOP Java programming; 3) Software design, build and deployment knowledge on JAVA platform; 4) Selenium Webdriver automation development; 5) SQL/Oracle Database Query; 6) Creating manual use test case scenarios and testing scripts based on use cases; 7) API testing automation for SOAP and REST; 8) HP LoadRunner or other load testing tools; and 9) Continuous Integration software such as Jenkins and Bamboo
