The Clinical Solutions team within Elsevier is singularly focused on helping healthcare professionals improve clinical outcomes through evidence-based care at every stage in the patient journey.

The Elsevier Clinical Solutions Platform team supports customer-facing product owners in delivering technology solutions across this full healthcare continuum, from patient engagement to clinical decision support, to education and reference. As a Senior Product Manager, reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Platform, you will own services and tools for the creation, storage, and delivery of clinical content. This includes authoring/editorial tools used by subject matter experts and shared product components used for the delivery of content in various formats.
You will work closely with customer-facing product owners, technology teams, internal editorial and authoring groups, and other platform product owners to realize the strategy. Content and medical information is at the heart of all Elsevier Clinical Solutions products this is a pivotal role within the team.
Responsibilities
• Maintains a solid understanding of customer use cases across the portfolio, specifically those involving content and information capture/delivery, and participates in customer interactions with other product owners.
• Actively seeks various options and opinions, then balances complex conflicting priorities and helps drive reusable, forward-looking solutions for complicated design challenges.
• Evangelizes and champions the roadmap to all stakeholders.
• Works with customer-facing product owners to develop platform vision and roadmap aligned with business strategy.
• Utilizes and extends the company's platform and underlying technologies to support new product features.
• Understands emerging technologies and how they may be applied within the organization.

Experience and Education
8-10 years in technology Product Management
Undergraduate degree in a technical subject, or relevant work experience required. Master’s degree in technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is strongly preferred.
Critical Experience:
• Long-term ownership and success in leading product lifecycle strategy and planning, including the release of multiple, integrated products and features, preferably working with inter-organizational APIs, including those within the health domain.
• Extensive experience working with content management systems and the underlying data storage and retrieval systems, as well as a solid grasp of information architecture best practices.
• Experience leading to demonstrable results working collaboratively with engineering, design, and user research teams.
Upon acceptance of this role, the selected internal candidate will be required to sign a Restrictive Covenants Agreement which includes Non-Solicitation, Non-Disclosure and for certain roles a Non-Competition Agreement as a condition of placement into the role.
