This role will ensure that timely and consistent support is provided to customer accounts and the sales teams. The Senior Sales Support Assistant will support various sales roles within the Nursing and Health Education division and support accounts not currently assigned to a sales rep.
Your responsibilities
• Manage instructor support request for accounts not currently assigned to the sales team.

• Research accounts to discover sales opportunity through internet search, report analysis, and/or customer contact.
• Provide backup support to the SSA team.
• Handle any special projects as requested by the sales or operations management team.
• Ensure all assigned tasks through Elsevier’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system are accomplished.
• Ensure that various faculty and sales initiated requests for products, resources, and support are fulfilled.
• Work with additional Elsevier support teams to resolve concerns and issues.
• Provide administrative assistance to the sales team.

What you should bring
•Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of two years support/coordinator experience, preferably in a sales environment.
•Must possess strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
•Administrative, organization, and attention to detail are a must, in addition to strong verbal communication skills and a customer focus.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) required.
