Bose Corporation is seeking a talented Program Manager to join our Communication Headset team focusing on the Aviation and Military headset markets. In this role, you will lead cross-functional engineering teams developing headsets which offering our customers new capabilities and higher performance. A successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, solid engineering fundamentals, and a proven track record for managing projects with technical and schedule challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, excellent problem solving capability, and the personal drive and commitment to meet timelines and deliver high quality products.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Establish and strengthen project objectives and scope for exploration and development.
• Ensure that the team has the resources necessary to succeed.
• Lead team to deliver early prototypes that demonstrate key performances and continue on to successful production builds.
• Plan and direct schedules, budgets and spending.
• Estimate product costs and work with supply chain and production partners to meet cost targets.
• Communicate project status regularly to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal partners including user experience design, product marketing, and manufacturing resources.
• Ensure the team follows sound engineering practices and procedures
• Some travel may be required
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
• Program management experience in the development of new products.
• Proven ability to run a highly technical team of multi-disciplinary engineers.
• Able to drive to tangible results in a timely manner with high technical challenges.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
• Ability to interact well with all levels within the organization and with external partners.
• Resiliency and flexibility.
