Job Description
Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking a collaborative and dynamic leader who drives the seasonal recruitment processes including: sourcing strategies, managing the progress of job openings, candidate experience, data management and all related administrative duties.
The Recruitment and Hiring Supervisor will work with and manage the Employment Center Team and process to fill all high-volume seasonal hiring needs, basing their decisions on the best "fit" for the position and within the Company. The Recruitment and Hiring Supervisor is also responsible for full life-cycle recruitment, including effective sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of selected candidates.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Creating a seasonal hiring plan to source and recruit qualified applicants based upon projected demand and targets to meet the needs of the business
• Conducts recruitment outreach to attract outside candidates through variety of sources: social media, local colleges and universities, professional organizations, job fairs etc.
• Actively seek new ways of working and continuous improvement within HR to provide a high quality, professional, consistent, and cohesive HR Service. This includes: working collaboratively and communicating proactively, understanding the needs of, and eliciting feedback from applicants and stakeholders; and identifying innovations to enhance service delivery and team member experience
• Works closely with the SFOG Leadership and the hiring managers to develop position advertising and sourcing strategies
• Develop action plans and analyze data/trends through ADP Recruiting Manager, Team Member Voice and partnering with park leadership to continuously improve the selection process and increase retention
• Exceptional focus on the timeliness and integrity of the selection and onboarding process including but not limited to processing of applications, appropriate screenings, effective interviewing and hiring decisions
• Commitment to compliance with Fair Credit Reporting Act in regards to employment decisions
• Ownership of SixFlagsJobs.com through the ADP Recruiting Manager site as well as maintaining all postings
• Working in partnership with the HR Manager, Employee Services and Training, manage employee relations issues and interpret policy consistently and fairly. Build management responsibility and capability for managing Employee Relations / Disciplinary issues (where appropriate) and improve the effectiveness of consultation
• All other activities and duties as required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:
• Two years of Theme Park Management with an emphasis in high volume recruitment, sales experience, and or training preferred
• Exceptional presentation/facilitation, communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong computer skills and solid knowledge Microsoft Office and web based HRIS programs a plus with an aptitude to easily learn software
• Strategic with the ability to be flexible, self-motivated, handle multiple demands, stay calm under pressure and resolve issues promptly
• Willingness to work extended hours and varied shifts to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Willingness to cross train for other operational departments and assist same during specific key projects or as needed
• At least 18 years old and possess a valid State Driver's license
