JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager, User Acquisition will manage multiple advertising campaigns as well as coordinate creative development and program execution. He/She will be responsible for ensuring that advertising campaigns meet the agreed upon goals, and for communicating progress against those goals to various stakeholders n a regular basis.
What You'll Do:
Team:
The User Acquisition team is tasked with acquiring new customers for our in-house developed mobile titles. Leveraging a substantial global budget, the team drives both scale and efficiency, managing campaigns across multiple channel partners. The team also tests new channels in search of innovative ways to reach potential players.
Day to Day:
• Plan, execute, and analyze user acquisition campaigns across performance UA channels
• Monitor, optimize and report performance of campaigns on an ongoing basis
• Provide strategic creative analysis on various creative types to yield successful results
• Identify new partner, platform, and optimization opportunities to drive campaign performance
• Develop test plans, measure performance, and make recommendations based on testing
• Identify the highest impact testing opportunities, prioritize, execute, track results and communicate to game and marketing teams
• Daily, weekly, and quarterly budget forecasting and reporting of results.
• Synthesize & analyze performance data for reporting and decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope out business opportunities and to deliver results
Years Experience:
• 3+ years of work in a metrics-based environment
• 3+ years of managing user acquisition campaigns
MUST Have Experience:
• BS/BA degree in math, science, or engineering, or proven track record in a quantitative/problem solving environment
• Basic to Intermediate SQL experience
• Familiarity with reporting tools (Tableau/Looker), Mobile Measurement Platforms (Appsflyer), and spend automation systems (Singular)
• Strong analytical skills and experience working in a metrics based environment
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• The desire to learn and to constantly seek ways to improve the day-to-day process
• Detail-oriented, organized, and highly-motivated
• Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
• Experience working in fast-paced environments, preferably in an internet, financial, or consulting industries
• Self-motivated with the ability to “roll-up the sleeves” to prioritize and manage work load to meet critical deadlines
Desirable Experience:
• Passionate about gaming and media
• Experience buying RTB/programmatic inventory a plus
• Experience with advertising conversion metrics (CPM, CTR, CVR, CPA/I), understanding of digital advertising ecosystem
• Experience – and a desire – to do both strategic planning and daily execution/optimization
