JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox News Channel is seeking a Manager of Programmatic supply to manage yield within the programmatic ad stack, major SSP partnerships and pricing strategies.
The role will cover Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network across all digital ad products platforms which receive overall 2B+ impressions per month. The position reports to the Sr. Director of Business Development and Sales Partnerships in New York.
This is a fast paced position for a versatile and motivated candidate who has deep expertise in programmatic and strong analytical skills. He/ She will also have significant influence on the overall programmatic strategy and carrying it out in execution. We are looking for a candidate who can get things done to aggressively grow and maximize overall revenue.
This is a small team where you will get exposed to many different aspects of the cable TV, advertising and digital business. As a result there is a lot of room for growth and opportunity for a high performer. The employee would be evaluated based on their ability to grow revenue and execute our overall programmatic strategy.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage ad stack and mediation across all Fox News ad products (2B+ monthly impressions)
• Manage relationships with major SSPs and revenue sources across all ad products (display, video, connected TV)
• Manage programmatic offerings including types of private marketplaces offered
• Work closely with Ad Ops and the Dev team to grow relationships, active new partners and drive any integrations (i.e. header bidding or other) to increase overall revenue
• Set manage and implement pricing strategies (including floors) in an effort to maximize overall revenue
• Analyze sales data routinely across partners and various ad products to look for insights, issues or optimizations
• Suggest and test new theories regularly, implement proven tactics as best practices
• Work with Director of Yield to recommend overall programmatic rates in an effort to maximize revenue
• Evaluate new potential partners, their fit within the overall strategy and their potential impact to overall monetization
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 4-6 years of experience in digital and programmatic sales
• Preferred 2+ years managing an ad stack
• Data science and/or data analysis background
• Established DFP and ADX knowledge base
• Strong expertise in programmatic, deep understanding of ad technology, the major players and trends
• Proven ability to drive and maximize revenue
• Excellent communicator and collaborator with other groups
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills, meticulous follow up
• Highly analytical, ability to interpret data, recognizing inflection points and key insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to simplify complex terminology and explain to the laymen
• Requires excessive entrepreneurial spirit and drive
• Must have a passion for programmatic, ad ops technology and growing revenue
