The Role
We are looking for a trusted finance business partner to join Autodesk’s Sales Finance team at Autodesk. This position reports directly to the AMER Senior Finance Business Partner.
The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high level strategy and day-to-day financial details. This candidate must effectively partner with business leaders, yet still adhere to his/her fiduciary duties as a member of the finance organization.
How You Will Spend Your Day
Your responsibilities supporting the MFG Mid Market, Channel Sales Team and License Compliance will include:
• Working closely with AMER Senior Finance Business Partner and providing support for AMER Channel Sales, Midmarket Sales and License Compliance
• Providing the Mid Market Sales and Territory weekly billings, ACV and subscription forecast.
• Creating quotas for Midmarket, License Compliance and Channel Sales executives, managers and directors.
• Managing the Opex budget (HC and variable) for License Compliance, MFG Midmarket and Channel Sales Team.
• Assist in Commission analysis and YTD rep attainment as the bridge between commissions and sales teams
• Building Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for managers and FD
◦ Present a EOQ finance deck to review performance and metrics
◦ Forecast accuracy tracking
• Providing Mid Market and Territory Sales KPIs and metrics and collaborating with WW Finance Business Partners and Sales Leads for consistency.
• Support annual Business Planning for Mid Market, Territory Sales and License Compliance
• Responsible for Ad-Hoc reporting requests working closely with the AMER Financial Analyst Team.
• Provide Deal Support in partnership with the Deal Development Team on agreements supporting Mid Market and Territory Accounts.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance preferred;
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience with finance or business analysis background
• Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company is a plus
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Hands on experience with financial software (e.g. Business Objects, Qlikview, SAP BPC, Hyperion etc)
• Articulate and concise with strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
• Ambitious and ability to learn quickly
• Strong team player and leadership potential
