JOB DESCRIPTION
WTTG/WDCA Photographer (Full-Time):
Fox 5 WTTG News, Washington DC the #1 News Station and most hours of local news is looking for an experienced Electronic news gathering position that requires both editing and/or videography.
This individual will cover general news assignments in a fast-paced news environment using electronic camera & editing equipment; applying techniques appropriate to each story.
Understanding of different camera/media formats required.
Cover general news assignments in a fast-paced news environment using electronic camera & editing equipment; applying techniques appropriate to each story.
Understanding of different camera/media formats required.
3 years recent on-the-street TV news photography experience required.
Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced news environment.
Live ENG remote skills and experience required, including ENG truck operation and field editing: Sat truck experience is a plus.
Excellent photography, lighting, audio, non-linear editing, and computer skills required.
Weekends, holidays, travel & varied hours required.
HS diploma required, college degree pref.
Lift/carry 50lbs equipment.
Must be able to drive, have proof of ins, obtain a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean MVR.
