OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY20th Century Fox
One of the world's largest producers and distributors of motion pictures, 20th Century Fox Film (TCFF) produces, acquires and distributes motion pictures throughout the world. These motion pictures are produced or acquired by the following units of 20th Century Fox Film: Twentieth Century Fox, Fox 2000 Pictures, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Fox International Productions, and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. During fiscal 2017, TCFF placed 25 motion pictures in general release in the United States. The motion pictures produced and/or distributed by TCFF in the United States and international territories in fiscal 2017 included Hidden Figures, Logan, Jackie, and The Boss Baby. TCFF has released or currently plans to release approximately 23 motion pictures in the United States in fiscal 2018.

The Fox Internship Program provides mentoring and learning opportunities to help you develop your skills, network with Fox employees, and learn more about what it’s like to work in the entertainment industry.
The Franchise Oversight intern for Franchise Management will have the unique opportunity to explore and work with iconic titles within the 20th Century Fox film portfolio. The intern will collaborate with Franchise Oversight to help facilitate further brand exploration, inspire future content, and produce large-scale franchise marketing and engagement activations. Additionally, the intern will support the Franchise Oversight team on asset requests/distribution, presentation creation, and digital activations.
Franchise & Brand Research
• Research and document key competitor franchises, compiling strategic takeaways and best practice learnings
• Franchise Activations – how popular franchises and entertainment brands build digital/in-person activations to engage directly with consumers to build strong relationships and increase brand affinity
• Franchise Fandoms – how audiences explore and invest time and money in their favorite entertainment franchises and brands via fan artwork, cosplay, digital communities, etc.
• Help ideate cross-divisional activations and opportunities around key film release.
Competitive Franchise Newsletter
• Aid in the development of a franchise newsletter that tracks key competitive franchises for new product development announcements
• Research and document for each franchise and create processes such as news alerts for ongoing tracking on key news, social channels and trade shows
Marketing Material Creation and Management
• Materials management and trafficking
• Create, manage and distribute highly-confidential marketing and strategy materials cross-divisionally
Executive Support
• Participate in divisional meetings and brainstorms
• Provide back-up administrative support including phones
• Coordinate multi-divisional meetings
• Organize department files and merchandise storage closet items
Requirements
• Keen interest in film and the entertainment industry a must
• Interest in Fandoms, video games, comics/graphic novels, and science-fiction, thriller, suspense or horror media genres is highly encouraged
• Knowledge of popular social and digital platforms (SnapChat, Instagram, DeviantArt, WattPad, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Keynote, and Adobe Photoshop
• Possess strong reading comprehension and excellent written communications
• Ability to think both analytically and creatively
• Highly detail oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and able to prioritize/maintain multiple projects at once
To participate in Fox’s Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
