IA Graphics Coordinator
SUMMARY
The Graphics Coordinator’s primary function is to coordinate client’s artwork into the airport advertising displays. To reach their goals, the Graphics Coordinator functions in a customer service role providing specifications and details to internal and external clients. This position works closely with Project/Property Managers, Collections and Sales departments as well as the vendors, airport staff and advertising clients of airport community showcase programs to coordinate artwork installation efforts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overall coordination of graphic installation
• Act as client’s first point of contact to establish timelines, content, next steps and client responsibilities.
• Act as liaison between the client who has signed a contract to advertise with our company in an airport and the graphic house that is producing the artwork
• Facilitate installation of artwork within 1 week of client contract start date. This is achieved through phone calls and emails, coordinating internal and external efforts.
◦ Send all specifications to both client and graphics house for contracted locations
◦ Advise client on suitable content to ensure maximum advertising effectiveness
◦ Work with airport for content approvals as needed
• Entering graphics information into system
• Maintain contact with clients and graphic houses/vendors throughout established timeline to ensure graphics are installed timely.
• Alert on-site service representative of installation – obtain proof of performance photos for National clients
• Maintain good working relationship with graphic houses that produce artwork for clients and verify that they meet standards of contracts
Maintenance Program Appearance
• Filler artwork – facilitate filler replacement – order, print and ship fillers to service reps for installation. All advertising displays must be filled.
• Review audit of airport program with operations team following a trip to market
• Review specs and rate cards to ensure accuracy of program
• Assist existing clients with artwork reproduction or change-outs through life of contract term
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• If available, forward client layouts and pictures of installations to sales staff
• Relationships are required to maintain and further business. Key role in final product of sales process.
• Participation in weekly project meetings and other team meetings as needed
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Strong customer service background
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret verbal and written requests and directions.
• Must have ability to learn and use company and customer system(s).
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Excellent communication required.
• Computer experience including good working knowledge with Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word and email (Outlook).
• Typing skills necessary
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to remain patient in challenging situations
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
• Reports to Team Responsibility Manager and internal Operations Manager
• This position is a part of the local sales team’s operation discipline.
