Description
Midroll Media is the world's largest pure-play podcast media company. We began as Earwolf, a pioneering comedy podcast network home to beloved shows like Comedy Bang! Bang! And How Did This Get Made?. Our Midroll brand distributes and monetizes major podcasts such as WTF With Marc Maron, The Bill Simmons Podcast, The Nerdist and StarTalk Radio. Since 2016, we've also been the parent company of Stitcher, one of the leading podcast listening apps. We've been building the podcast industry since its earliest days -- and we're just getting started.
To support our growing business and marketing team, we're searching for a Growth Marketing Manager to focus on growing the Stitcher user base across product lines. This person will own user acquisition initiatives, in-house and agency-led advertising for Stitcher and its podcasts and other supporting projects that can lead to dramatically growing our base of Monthly Active Users.
Specifically, you'll:
• Manage marketing efforts for the Stitcher app and Stitcher podcasts that optimize ROI across digital channels including event-based DR channels (primarily Google UAC and Facebook), programmatic display, and app stores.
• Devise and oversee development of ad copy and creative for all campaigns, supported by internal designers and agency team.
• Manage an agency team to coordinate mobile app network spend optimization, large brand buys, and other ad hoc marketing efforts like out-of-home ads, podcast ad buys, and email marketing.
• Maintain and enhance attribution and reporting infrastructure on the marketing performance of Stitcher products, including monthly reporting, recommendations, and forecasts as well as convey these via concise, regular communication.
• Identify, test and launch marketing efforts in new channels. Run effective experiments that indicate ability to scale on these channels.
• Work closely with the Product Management team to align marketing initiatives with product roadmap. Propose new product initiatives that can lift marketing performance and demonstrate how.
You're a great fit if:
• You're highly literate in Google Universal App Campaigns, Facebook Ads Manager and Business Manager, Adjust (or another mobile app measurement platform), and analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Localytics.
• You've run six-figure+ monthly budgets on these platforms while maintaining cost efficiency.
• You have 3-5 years' hands on experience in broad user acquisition marketing across digital channels. Some app marketing experience and knowledge of app-specific KPIs also required.
• You rock a spreadsheet. That includes using them for data mining/insight development, reporting and forecasting. SQL experience a big plus.
• You have a special affinity for terms like CPI, CAC, LTV, CTR and the like. You're curious about how to create models that improve these figures.
• You have the ability to innovate, build infrastructure where necessary, and argue for the priority of marketing initiatives for the greater good of the Stitcher user base.
• You love podcasts and are hungry to make the listening experience better for Stitcher users.
