The Internship:
As part of the Marketing team, you will help bring to life compelling campaigns & promotions that support key brand objectives including fan engagement, education, and ticket sales. The ideal candidate is creative, curious and eager to learn with a demonstrated business acumen to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. If this sounds like you, please read on!
What the internship is:
• Supports the department with marketing campaign development and execution
• Assists with promotional microsite programming, maintenance and quality assurance
• Brainstorms compelling content, influencer programs and onsite activations
• Contributes editorial and writes marketing copy for social, web and other key promotional placements
• Gains exposure to cross-functional teams such as Creative, Social (organic/paid), Editorial, Email, SEO, Client Marketing Services, and Sponsorships
• Conducts competitive analysis and compiles library of promotion examples across the industry
• Learns reporting tools to track, analyze and interpret data to inform future strategy
• Attends and participates in marketing team meetings as appropriate
What a qualified intern should possess:
• BA/BS in progress in Marketing, Communications or related field
• Passionate consumer of live events including concerts, festivals, sports, and/or theatre
• Blogging and copywriting experience preferred
• Savvy social media user in tune with pop culture trends and influencers
• Strong competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Google Drive
• Experience with analytics platforms such as Omniture and Google Analytics a plus
• Wordpress, HTML, and/or Photoshop a plus
