OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY20th Century Fox
One of the world's largest producers and distributors of motion pictures, 20th Century Fox Film (TCFF) produces, acquires and distributes motion pictures throughout the world. These motion pictures are produced or acquired by the following units of 20th Century Fox Film: Twentieth Century Fox, Fox 2000 Pictures, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Fox International Productions, and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. During fiscal 2017, TCFF placed 25 motion pictures in general release in the United States. The motion pictures produced and/or distributed by TCFF in the United States and international territories in fiscal 2017 included Hidden Figures, Logan, Jackie, and The Boss Baby. TCFF has released or currently plans to release approximately 23 motion pictures in the United States in fiscal 2018.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:
Fox Filmed Entertainment is conducting a search for a Manager, Finance. The Manager will supervise Financial Analysis responsible for accounting issues related to the Home Entertainment release of Fox Feature Films and Consumer Products for United States and Canada. Primary responsibilities are to prepare and supervise preparation of monthly reports, analyses and schedules distributed to Senior Management and third parties.
Responsibilities:
• Indexing all domestic Home Entertainment expenses
• Setting up new general ledger accounts
• Maintaining promotional accounts and expenditures
• Maintaining the new release schedules for all segments
• Reconciling the allocation tables.
• Interact with other areas of the studio, including Participations, Accounts Payable and Studio Finance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• 3 to 5 years minimum Accounting experience in an Entertainment or Public Accounting
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including Pivot Tables, V-Look-ups etc.
• Database applications is a must.
• Candidates must be pro-active and have the ability to work independently
• Must have strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Must be organized, focused, and extremely articulate, with the ability to interact confidently with Senior Management.
• Ability to operate and supervise others in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment is mandatory.
