As a member of the Manufacturing & Global Supply Chain (MGSC) Finance organization, your role will provide insightful financial analysis, reporting, and support that enables a sound business decision process. This includes analysis of global freight spend, Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) analytics, and supporting the development of quarterly forecasts in the areas of other cost of sales and cost of goods sold. Work closely with corporate & global operations support groups to drive process efficiencies, controls and financial performance improvements using Lean methods and tools.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Develop reporting and key performance indicators to provide visibility to third party manufacturing performance and competitiveness
• Work with operations to understand reporting needs and prepare and present both recurring and ad hoc reports leveraging Excel and Power BI
• Support month end close processes to ensure accurate monthly reporting, review P&L, and provide insight into financial results
• Partner with analysts and advisors in our sales organization to drive enhancements in current global outbound freight reporting
• Perform complex financial models and reports to support product roadmaps and sourcing decisions
Skills:
• General accounting / financial reporting.
• Preference will be given to candidates with regular use of SAP or similar integrated systems.
• Requires strong level of business maturity/acumen, and technical systems aptitude.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization technologies such as Qlikview, Tableau, and/or PowerBI a plus
Education:
• B.S. in Accounting or Finance & 3+ years of applicable experience are required; MBA or CPA desirable
